Tasks

Understand the customer requirements in regards of mechanical, electrical, and environmental specifications
Perform workshops with customers to align technical requirements and production and/or material related restrictions
Build up the capability for various validation to ensure Contact Elements are optimized for maximum performance in targeted applications
Exchange with production and experts to understand production, material and coating related restrictions
Generate CAD models with SolidWorks for Contact Elements, prepare 2D drawings and release for production
Perform technical calculations and improve tools to facilitate product development phase
Exchange with internal FEM experts to build up competency in regards of product calculation and simulation

BSc degree in engineering or relevant technical field
Min. 3 years working experience in mechanical engineering or technical field for electrical product application (experience with High Voltage Connector for EV is a plus, experience with SolidWorks and ANSYS is a plus)
Solid understanding of industry specific concepts and processes (experience with Automotive industrial is a plus)
Creative, analytical thinking, and affinity to work in a team
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear manner in German and English
