R&D Development Engineer for Surface Process Technology

As an “R&D Development Engineer for Surface Process Technology,” you are the expert in the development, handling, and application of various coating, corrosion protection, and flocking solutions. The focus of your role is on defining and supporting existing and new production processes, continuously improving process workflows, and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Bring your strengths to the table

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field: surface engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, process engineering, or a similar qualification
  • Experience with surface pretreatment processes, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge in the areas of cleaning, zinc flake coating, and flocking of springs/small parts is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, analytical thinking, a high degree of personal responsibility, and an effective approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment
  • Communication and documentation skills (spoken and written English); German is a plus
