Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and re-quotations.
Negotiate annual contracts, bidding, and margin protection measures.
Build and maintain a comprehensive account overview (“Account Panorama”).
Monitor and be accountable for the account P&L (revenue, gross margin), conducting regular account panorama analysis to guide strategic decisions.
Develop and execute a robust annual price negotiation strategy based on data-driven analysis of cost drivers, market trends, and total account profitability.
Operational:
Manage customer projects in the post-nomination lifecycle, covering ramp-up, running, and decline phase
Manage day-to-day customer relationship, coordinate inquiries, and ensure smooth communication.
Monitor running projects, align with operations and Global Program Management.
Analyse sales data, track project performance, and identify improvement areas.
Serve as the primary escalation point for all commercial and operational issues, coordinating crisis resolution for critical events such as potential line-stops or quality recalls.
Leadership & People:
Act as trusted contact for the customer, ensuring consistent communication and relationship building.
Support Technical Business Developers by providing timely and accurate account insights.
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders (procurement, planning, quality) through transparent communication and relentless problem-solving.
Follow up closely the SOP of key projects
Cross-functional:
Ensure clear handover procedures between Sales and Operations.
Collaborate closely with Global Program Management, Operations, and Quality to safeguard customer satisfaction.
Partner with the Project Manager to coordinate internal teams (Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics) and the customer to resolve launch issues and ensure operational alignment.
Work integrally with the customer’s planning team and internal order management to maintain an accurate rolling forecast, ensuring production capacity meets demand.
